The example signature, for an invented bakery.

How it works

  1. Fill in what is yours

Name, role, numbers and website. Profile links, a short note and a company notice are optional. Pick one of four layouts: Letterhead, Side by side, Two lines or Plain.

  2. Read the checks

Gmail's 10,000-character limit, colour contrast, pictures that may be held back, mismatched addresses and numbers without a country code. How each check works.

  3. Copy it, paste it

One button copies the formatted signature, another the plain text. Where each mail app keeps it. For a whole office, use the team sheet.

Questions

Does it send email or read my mailbox?

No. The site builds HTML and text from what you type. It never connects to your mail account, sends nothing and looks nothing up.

Can I use my logo?

Yes, by pointing at a logo that is already on your website (an https address). The site does not take uploads. Without a logo, the side-by-side layout shows your initials in your colour, which needs no picture at all.

Why no social media icons?

Icons are pictures, and many mail apps hold pictures back until the reader allows them. Text links always show and are always tappable.

Is this WeldonPC's help desk?

No. This is a self-service tool. WeldonPC's computer services are at weldonpc.com.
